This apartment sucks. Nothing works and management blows. The funny thing is we've only been living here for a month n a half. The main bathroom is slanted. The WHOLE THING!!! The toilet refuses to flush most of the time, once maintenance is called it works for maybe a week and then breaks again causing us to only use the master bathroom where the tub never stops running. The hot water works whenever it wants, usually the nozzle won't even turn on. It's sad because it is usually about the time I get home from work and I would like to bathe myself. We have one drawer for our kitchen....that doesn't open far due to the oven being right in front of it. We only have two burners that work, and our fridge is full of water. All of the doors stick.... our sliding door will not lock. When we first moved in my roomates shower head flew off and smacked her in the back of the head because the water pressure is whacked. Mexican kids throw rocks at peoples cars, and apparently broke one of our neighbors windows. Half the time the washers in our area do not work or just eat your money. And not to mention, the place is disgusting. Who would want to wash their clothes in filth' On the other hand, parking is decent... Our neighbors are okay, besides their ---- children. In my opinion rent should be much cheaper considering how poor these apartments are. Since living here I have seen police on the main street about 5 times, including a truck that almost ran into the brick wall. Our deck faces someone's living room so they constantly feel like we're staring at them. Talk about great scenery! So to all who feel that they need to sign a year lease, don't. Unless you feel that you would enjoy half of your ---- not working, oh and if you are a white girl be prepared to get hollared at every time you step out of the apartment. Guys being completely obnoxious and making you completely uncomfortable. I think I may get mugged! ---- PELICAN POINT I WANNA GO HOME!!

My husband and I lived there for two years, and our neighbors were always having maintenance problems. The tubs were always over-flowing. The management must waste thousands of dollars every month on water bills alone. The only way we got along was by being nice to the maintenance staff and trying to be helpful with small problems. You shouldn't HAVE to get your foot in like that, but it does help your maintenance requests get answered fast.
