While there is plenty of parking available, the parking lot has huge holes in it. I have lived here for 3 years and we have had about 5 changes in management since then. There is always someone new in the office, who of course has no idea what your problems are and have been. They accused us of not paying our rent and placed an eviction notice on the door. We had to show them a carbon copy of our check and a statement from the bank that they had already cashed it; they don't give you a receipt for paying rent anymore and the girl in the office said they don't use a computer system to keep track of rent so sometimes "this just happens". They claim to have a sparkling swimming pool, but it is so dirty that last summer a little boy drowned in it b/c they couldn't see him at the bottom. During 4th of July, kids were riding around in their car throwing fire crackers. One landed on a vehicle and it roasted like a marshmellow on fire! My car window was busted out b/c someone tried to steal my car. My husband's car had a full beer bottle thrown at it, which left about a fist size dent in the door. Another car in my lot had a brick thrown through the rear window. They have recently raised the rent to $425 for a one bedroom, but have made no upgrades to justify this! While they did replace my hot water tank, the old one has been sitting in the hallway for the last two months. We did have a mouse problem. The windows and sliding door are badly insulated (the door doesn't even close all the way), and they keep raising the prices to run the washer and dryers. The tennis courts are cracked, they don't have nets, and the kids in nearby buildings just use it to play and ride their bikes in. The area is poorly lit and I feel a bit unsafe at night.

I totally agree with all of these reviews on these apartments - when I moved to Wichita I had an afternoon to find an apartment, these were cheap and had openings, and like all the other people said, they show you a nice apartment in a decent building - all the rest are jokes!!!! My experience here could be much worse, for the $360 I pay for a one bedroom its alright for the price, but when my lease it up the rent is going up like the person above mentioned. To me, it's not really worth that much to live here, I don't mind paying $425 for a one bedroom, but not in this dump. The grounds are constantly littered with trash, the other tenants here could care less what the grounds look like, they let their dogs crap everywhere and leave trash all over around the dumpsters. The management is friendly, but does not address any issues in a timely manner, I moved in here last September and just this last month got a replacement screen for my window in my bedroom - not a major fix, but something I wouldn't expect to take 8 months. It is true, you get what you pay for, if you don't mind paper thin walls, and I do mean paper thin, and a trashy complex over all, go ahead and move here for the cheap rent - if you can afford something nicer - TAKE IT!!! I do NOT want to move again, but I am already looking as soon as my lease is up I am moving somewhere else.
