RUN AWAY!!!
I decided to ignore all the other reviews and went and looked at the model apartment and put my deposit down. I am sceduled to move in this weekend and they kept saying I could not come see my actual apartment because it wasnt ready. HA! Well 3 days before I am supposed to move I get to go see my apartment and WOW!! I have a 14 month old daughter and I would NEVER live here! We go to walk in and outside the building door is a stack of ciggerette butts that I swear must have taken 5 years to accumulate that many along with empty beer bottles! But I continue inside where in the hall I find dirty socks (who knows who's they are!) and random trash! So we open the apartment door and there it gets worse! The living room carpet was stained so badly it should have been replaced. Bright purple stains, and burn holes!! The base trim was a rubber thing that looked like it had 14 different pieces stapled AND SCREWED into the wall!! the kitchen cabinets didnt shut and the drawer under the stove was pretty well broke! it took 5 minutes the finangle it back where it looked somewhat right! Where the carpet switched to vinyl it was awful, the carpet tack was conmpletely exposed, so anyone who walked on it would of gotten nails in thier foot!
In some places they had tried to patch the carpet but all they did was cut out the stain and throw down a mis matched carpet piece on top of it that sort of fit in the hole. Someone had also probably put a head or fist through the master bedroom door and they covered it with some putty and paint (not a good job either!!) and to top it all off!! All you had to do was stand in the hall for 5 minutes and HELLO contact high!!!! I told them NO WAY i was moving in and I am now fighting for my deposit back! I dont know who lives here and likes it but seriously, whatever!!!!! Dont just go off the model there, because obviously they dont keep the apartments cleaned at all! I was told that for compensation they would reduce my rent by $50 and TRY to maybe get some stuff fixed in the next 6 months! WHAT A JOKE!!
OH YA The laundry room is NASTY!!! and obviously from the graffiti on the outside of the building someone named RB lives there! get it together remington park!

that's an excellent decision to NOT move in. what you just wrote is only the beginning of the problems you were going to face. Good luck getting your deposit back. They struggle to pay their bills so bad that I'm sure they already spent it and you won't see it again just like 99% of the tenants that have lived there. please PLEASE pass the word around about this place. I've been trying for almost 1 1/2 years not to pass on the word and i'm glad to see this site is getting noticed more.

I moved out back in July of 2007 and have yet to recieve my deposit of $150 back. I called them over 50 times over the course of the year following and never got it resolved. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and I recommend others do too to try to get them out of Wichita or have their business shut down.

yea well I work for an office of attorneys and already told them they either return it or they will be speaking to my attorney and they said I should receive it within 30 days.

Why not send a few emails to KWCH and KSNW and see if maybe someone can show the public what is going on........then more people will see and maybe the owners will finally do something!!
