Don't Live Here!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
I lived in this complex for about four months and had nothing but problems. The management is very unorganized and fake. They will tell you whatever it is you want to hear and never come through with it. Before I ever moved in there, I had put a deposit down on a two bedroom and the girl even said that she penciled my name in on that apartment. I had already had utilities, phone and cable in my name at that apartment. When I went in the office to give them my rent and get my keys, they told me that they had rented it out to someone else, after I had already put down a deposit! I then settled for a one bedroom and both my neighbors where constantly partying and playing loud music. I told the office about this and they did nothing. The noise still continued. The type of clientel that they rent to has a lot to be desired as well. My wife would walk around the complex to go to the pool, laundry room or wherever and constantly be harrassed by other renters. Once she was even followed around the whole complex and back to our apartment by a man who lived across the parking lot! They were always having problems with the hot tub and one of the recumbant bikes in the fitness room and would not fix them. These amenities are there for the renters to use and that is what we pay rent for is to have these amenities and they were not even available for us to use because they wouldn't get them fixed. They even would lock up the hot tub room on weekends because it kept getting vandalized but it clearly states in the lease that it would be open until 10:00 pm every day. I told them it sounded like they needed more or better security. That is another thing, there was supposedly a WPD officer living on the property that was supposed to be a "courtesy patrol" but you never see him, unless he is hitting on your wife like he did mine! Also the apartments must not be built or insulated very good because we lived in a small one bedroom with a fireplace, which is only 700 sq ft, and our electric bill was around $80-$100 a month in the fall. Bottom line is that I would never live here again and would not suggest to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy, to sign a lease and live there until they get new management that is capable of running it like a business should be ran.
