I've lived in the Shores for a year and a half now, and the only thing I can complain about is apartment complex next door, They wake me up on occassion, and are a lot louder than anyone who lives at The Shores.

The amount of parking (if you get home late) can be a pain. But I have never had to park by another building,

I feel safe around the primises of The Shores, I just don't feel safe at night if I walk my dog OFF the compound. The place is set in the notorious south side, but is nestled away in a very non-busy area. Most people I live by are late 20's early 30's and are respectful, and quiet.

The area is VERY well lit, I don't have a problem letting my girlfriend walk to her car unattended at night because she ususally has a good parking spot, and it's well lit.

The apartments themselves are Great! Very spacious, cheap, and of great quality.

The maintanence staff is incredible, not a day goes by where I don't see them working on something, (mowing grass, and routine maintanence) If you submit a work order they will be at your apartment in less than 10 min. . . sometimes they even follow you right out of the office.

The management is a bit ... uhm. . . irresponsible at times, but are quick to fix their problems.

I have had very great stay here and the only reason I am leaving is because my roomate wanted a house :)and I wanted to be closer to everything that I do.
