I have never been a resident of Eastborough, but had been contemplating checking them out when my lease expires. I stayed in a friend's apartment at Eastborough for a week while "house sitting". The apartment was on the second level of a three story building. The floors and ceilings are very thin and squeak, creek and bend with every step. You can hear every footstep above you and those below can hear all of your steps. Also, the kitchens and baths seem to be original from what appears to be the 70's. The bathtub is old, the tile grout is gross and they just continue to caulk over and over instead of replacing. They are EXPENSIVE for what you get. Also, the week I was there, people would gather in the courtyards and it was obvious they had been drinking. They were loud, obnoxious, screaming out to each other, running down the sidewalks yelling.....all of this after midnight and beyond. No one did a thing about it. I would never live there. It was like a cheap housing project, but with costly rent. You get one assigned covered parking space, but for any additional cars, good luck finding a spot. I like that there are laundry rooms in each building....that's nice. I can't comment on management or maintenance as I had no interaction in that week and my friend has never complained. She likes it there, though.
