Only rent here if:
-You like large spiders all over your apartment
-Appreciate loud noisy neighbors who have equally loud dogs
-Enjoy a snotty staff who would rather smoke then do any work
-You can afford VERY HIGH energy bills due to the lack of insulation
-Think it is fun to live in a damp, musty apartment that leaks every time it rains
-Have no problem with the joke of a maintenance staff making "quick fixes" that do nothing but prolong problems
-Want to lose your security deposit when you move out because they charge ridiculously high "repair" and "cleaning" bills
THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE!! I was in between houses due to a divorce and only chose this place due the fact that they had a washer and dryer. We had spiders year round that were huge and when I complained they told me that they sprayed. The staff was rude and stood outside smoking for most of the day. They were also uneducated and VERY VERY unprofessional. They allow pets at this place, but also allow the pets to be extremely noisy at all hours of the night. My energy bills were extremely high because cold air came in through every part of the apartment, including electrical outlets. My furnace was out for the entire first winter I was there. They kept lighting the pilot light, but that was not the problem. It needed a part and they were too cheap to fix it until the next winter. They charged me a $75 carpet cleaning bill for one dime size spot on my carpet. My aparment was extremely clean and even my movers commented that it looked like no one had ever lived there. THIS PLACE IS A RUN-DOWN ENERY INEFFICIENT JOKE OF A BUSINESS RUN BY UNEDUCATED ANGRY PEOPLE WHO THINK SINCE THEY SIT BEHIND A DESK AND MAKE $10/HOUR, THEY HAVE AUTHORITY. Thank God I purchased a home far away from Westlink Village. I work in the aircraft industry and come across people every day moving to the area. My only suggestion on a living arrange is: DO NOT RENT AT WESTLINK VILLAGE!
