DO NOT MOVE HERE

I don't even know where to start. When we first moved in everything was fine. Our neighbors across the hall would have parties sometimes but we never heard them and we always had a place to park. Cedarbrooke accepts all sizes of pets which is a bad idea. People will let their big dogs run free and not pick up their horse sized droppings. We had so many issues with leaking water in our apartment. The first problem was a broken ring on the pipe that carried the water from the toilet bowl to the sewer. The nasty water was running behind the wall and underneath the floor in the bathroom in my closet. The problem had been going on for so long that mold was growing on my shoes and on the floor. It took them two weeks to get out there to fix it and there solution was to fix the leak and put a fan on the carpet to dry it out. We told them that this was not acceptable and we wanted the floor replaced in the bathroom and the section of the wall behind the toilet replaced as well. They said they would do this but would not replace the carpet in the closet. After fighting with them for two weeks about it they finally decided they would replace it. They removed the carpet and said they had to order the carpet to replaced the old stuff. What kind of crap is this. A broken gutter also caused water to leak onto our bedroom floor everytime it rained. The water would drip down onto the ground and run through the cracked foundation into our bedroom. Then finally two weeks before we moved out I woke up only to find water spewing out of my hot water tank, flooding my kitched and my hallway. I had to take off of work that day to keep my animals out of the mess while they replaced the tank. We had some new people move in across the hall from us who obviously dont know how to properly clean themselves. Their aweful smell on top of the smell coming from their pet ferrets is enough to make you puke. Handicap people not parking in the handicap spaces leaving other people without a place to park. The management making unauthorized changes to your lease before you move out so you don't get your whole deposit back. It was fine when we first moved in but now it is just a horrible place to live. I will give credit to the maintence staff, they are pretty quick to respond once the office actually tells them there is a problem.
