I lived at Yorktown for two years. Maintence is awful! If you need something fixed you might as well do it yourself! They never fix anything right the first time! While living at Yorktown I never paid my rent late but when I asked for a print out of my payments it showed late almost every month. Kind of funny it didn't show any late payments! I went without hot water for three days and had to call the corporate office to get it fixed. My fridge defrosted three times and lost all of my food before it was fixed. At move out I cleaned the apartment way better than how I received it but yet lost almost all of my deposit! Everytime you go into the office the employees children on either in there or running around in the halls. They also say it has a secure entrance but the lock is ALWAYS broke. The buzzer to buzz in guests never works. The pool and hot tub are never cleaned correctly. Be very careful when signing your lease you now have to give them a 70 day notice if you plan to stay or go. When we told them we were not staying they called everyday for two weeks to see if we were going to renew! They will start showing your apartment when they find out that you are not staying, so be prepared for random strangers to be in and out!
