I lived here for a year in a 4 bedroom floorplan. When my roommates and I first toured and moved in the staff was very polite and the display model was cool. After we signed our lease everything changed. Our apartment was covered with dust and dirt from where they had painted and not cleaned anything up. They never showed up to clean up the mess no matter how many times we called. About mid October our furnace stopped working, and it took the maintenance four days to show up, only to not fix it for nearly two more weeks (it actually was blowing smoke through the vents). In February, our roof began to leak in the family room, then the kitchen, then the laundry room and our Air Conditioner quit working! It took me sending a letter to their corporate office to get them to fix the leaks, and we still had to live with HUGE holes in our ceiling the remainder of the lease. The smoke detector wiring in the ceiling was shorted out by the water and the maintenance just took them all down so they wouldn't have to fix the leaks...not safe. The A/C was never fixed properly, but trust me they still charged us for using it even though it blew hot air. After all of this, we still were hammered with fines and penalties as soon as we moved out, as well as having ridiculous utility charges every month we lived there. The staff are NOT friendly, the maintenance SUCKS, and they will take you hook-line-and sinker for every dollar you have. We even got charged for the carpet being stained as a result of our ceiling leaking for four months straight. Also, if you are a college student and ever plan on having friends over I suggest you keep the radio turned off and don't make too much noise. The cops are all over that place in response to College Suite's request, and they love handing out bull-crap noise complaints. We had over 10 noise complaints in one semester, and three of them were just from having the surround sound on while watching movies. Every time the cops come they also come in and search your apartment regardless of if you give them permission or not. Maybe we just had crappy neighbors who called them all the time, or maybe College Suites likes handing out fines. Decide for yourself.
