Best Place in Bowling Green

I lived in Hartland for little over a year and I must say I am glad that I lived there over the other apartments in BG. The other reviews were pretty accurate. Parking can be a pain in some apartments, especially the corner units, and especially during the evenings and weekends. 90% of the time I found a spot right outside of my apartment. The walls are thin, and if you have noisy neighbors you can hear them through the walls or ceiling.
The grounds are very nice and well kept. Flowers everywhere. Pool was very nice. Was on the expensive side for Bowling Green, but the same apartment in Chicago would have double the rent.
What really set this Hartlands apart from every other complex I've ever lived in was that the management wasn't out to rip you off. Overall they were tremendously helpful. The maintenance people would fix our problem same day. I had an unfortunate parting of ways with my roommate and they were very understanding. When in the process of relocating at the end of my lease, they allowed me to keep the same terms for a few months until I relocated. Lastly, the roommate didn't keep the apartment terribly clean, and I could not get the stains out myself. Hartlands didn't take any of the security deposit for cleaning though, where I know elsewhere I would have lost my security deposit.
The ladies in the office were genuinely good people and if I were to ever move back to BG I wouldn't hesitate renting at Fairways.
