I made the mistake of moving here,the manager is a total waste-she didn't do anything about the disgustingness of this place.My apartment was infested with fleas,and I didn't have any pets!My 1 year old daughter had to go to the doctor for all her flea bites all over her body.We had to bomb the place.My husband walked out one morning to find a bullethole in his windshield!I could clearly hear the couple upstairs having sex all the time.Then the roaches showed up, and they were dripping off the cabinets.I am very clean and when I saw roaches I tried to break my lease the right way,but the manager wouldn't agree so I just moved out in the middle of the night.I got summoned to court for breaking my lease and I showed up,but the manager didnt.I've never heard anything since.Please do not move here,especially if you have kids,as no child deserves to have to live in a disgusting dump like this place. I'd be better off in Over-the-Rhine than I was here.

THAT IS REDICULOUS!! they must have new managment because when we moved in we didn't have any problems! and i never seen an roaches. when we went to see the apartment it was just this little cozy place just right for me and my boyfriend. in fact they were replacing the carpet because of the person who lived there before didn't take care of himself. if you honestly believe this is a bad place then thats because of the people who live there or even yourself. and if i do say so myself i think that they have cleaned out all of the slobs who were there that didn't take good care of their selves. if some people were not so discusting and had any respect for them selves or anyone else then Burl Park would be the perfect place. its not the managments fault if you are not pleased, its your fault. if you would take better care then there would be no problems!!

Never lived here...just reading reviews...but, the person who wrote the original review posted it in 1999...OBVIOUSLY things in 2006 would be much different than 7 years prior, don't you think? It's unfair to blame a complete stranger for conditions that were present 7 years prior to your own experience.
