Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009

We have lived here for almost two years and since the new management took over in early 2008 the costs are continuing to rise. Our rent payment has gone up nearly $100 since they took over and we have nothing new in our apartment to show for it. What we do have is a stupid looking gorilla, a champagne bottle, or an elf standing on the corner trying to flag people into the property, holding a sign that says, "free rent." While I have no complaints about the apartment itself, the new management is horrible and I can't wait until our lease is up so that we can get out of here! People are constantly moving out now and it is not a surprise to any of the residents here. Management has told us that they are raising the rent again in summer of 2009!! Not surprised with the greed of this company. Keep looking!!!

You are sooo right!!! We have lived here for over 4 years and had hoped to be here for many years, but since the Connor Group took over last May everything that was free we now have to pay extra for. Our rent went up $120 last August and now they are raising it $325 more this year. We are out of here as soon as our lease is up. They made us give written notice 4 months in advance to release a copy of our rent history to new properties we are looking at and they still have not sent it to any of them. In the past several months there have been 5 empty apartments in our building of 12. They said they can raise the rent so much because 3 bedrooms apts are in high demand. If they are in such high demand why so many empty apts, hmmm?
