Horrible Management

I have lived here for a year and a half. The first year the management was great. The new management is horrible and have to have things their way or no way. The refuse to follow their own lease agreement and make up rules as they see fit. I have been harrassed and threatened by a few of the on site management and a few of the management from Brown-Noltemeyer. I have made several attempts to contact the owners and have been given the brush off. If you have any questions call me at 502-548-3266. My family has seeked helped from a lawyer and plan to break the lease.

Lived here?

Having lived at BV with my wife and son for 3 years, I have trouble believing these statements are entirely true. No office staff or management has ever harassed myself or my neighbors or my numerous friends that live here as well. I know some persons may receive a letter at the door if they are breaking a rule (grills on patio) or have an unsightly mess (garbage bags on doorstep). But otherwise I have had nothing but the best experience here. I consider BV the nicest apartments in semi-luxury style at extremely affordable pricing. If this person was having trouble with the management it was probably warranted and I hope they have already left the community.

I've always been talked down to when calling management. They act like you should never have a complaint. I told them that my electric bill keeps going up, eventhough we aren't running the heat. Whoever it was said, "well, so does ours." I then gladly reminded her that the windows keep falling out and there's an inch gap between them and the wall. I could literally hear people talking across the street during the summer when they'd have cookouts. It was ridiculous!

yes, the office staff is VERY rude. Not helpful whatsoever. and if you live here, don't expect to have a parking spot. I'm hoping to move out soon!!

We recently rented the "Community Room" for a Saturday birthday party. Not only did we have to give them a $300 CASH deposit, but they told us that we were not allowed into the room until EXACTLY 12:00 noon, and that if anyone reported seeing anyone "loitering" outside we would forfeit the cash deposit. We had to threaten to sue just to get the deposit back. (taking a camera to document helped...) We like the facilities, but the office staff seem to a god complex... and like pushing tenants around. We have been threatened with eviction if we don't follow their lame rules (like unregistered cars can be towed = no guests allowed). If you have a choice, the money is better spent almost ANYWHERE else...
PS: the office staff a Country Brook off Westport are great... try them instead!

I know how you feel. I have had a similar experience and would love to see some action taken against this complex and company. Please contact me at 502-548-3266 to discuss this matter. I have a review on here as well and am equally as displeased. I was assaulted by one of them which I would still like to press charges against.

Wow, I also have a hard time believing some of these things. I just think a lot of people want things done their way, and when they don't they get upset. You were assaulted? Yea right. And what's wrong with having the party room at NOON? And Country Brook has RUBS. You pay your own electricity as well as the parking lot and hallway light bills and water. And it is bad parking here but its not like that changed when you moved in. You can look at the parking lot and tell that its limited parking. The only way a car can get towed is if its not running or has expired tags. No one's guest gets towed. That is absurd.
I've been here 5 years and I haven't had to even deal with the office staff that much. Maybe You're the problem if you are in the office that much

I can't believe half of these things said I've lived in brookridge for almost 2 years now and have yet to have a problem. Managment has always treated me and my family rather nicely and are quick to help if ever there is a problem. I also must add that I actually moved from country brook to BV and honestly I enjoyed living there but there is just something about brookridge that makes you feel right at home.
