First off, I would like to say I was not evicted from Brook Run! Now, when I 1st moved in, the carpet had burn holes in it and bleach stains. My move in list was a mile long and they never bothered to come fix any of it. There was peeling paint and mold behind the toilet and I asked them to fix it. They just painted over the peeling paint and the paint job of the entire apartment looked terrible. Then, after a few months of living here we were all told that all children are to be inside (no matter their age) unless there under adult supervision. I thought this was ridiculous! Can you imagine your child with you all day every day over the summer' Ha!!! Had I been told this before I would have never moved here. We had issues with the parking a few times and that is when we realized the managers were being very ridiculous! I feel like I can't even live here without them dictating my every move!!!

The complex has outside lights but some are out or not working correctly. It takes a while for maintenance to come out and fix things and when they do they always half ass everything with, what it seems like whatever they have laying around. This place is old and falling apart!

When it comes to the staff, It seemed as if once they get you in here they can give two shits about you. Management actually lives on the grounds and are not very nice people. They complain about everything you do. It is so ignorant!!! I would not live here unless you want a lot of drama. This place is FULL of it! Even the supposedly businesslike (HA!) people in the office ENJOY the drama.


It may seem like a deal but when you get your gas bill you will flip!!! Last month mine was 300 bucks! CRAZY! That is not counting your electric bill! And if you can't pay it completely every month you will be EVICTED! That is where they get you! Cheap rent so you think your getting a good deal but the bills are a KILLER! Not worth it at all!!!

Don't rent here especially if you have children that enjoy playing outside!!!! It seems as if everything is off limits in this place!!! Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7

hi, i realy wonder if this is true. my family got to visit apt there, and it was nice. they didnt say anything about kids playing outside. i wonder if i should ask that. i told the lady that i have to kids, sarah and she didnt say anything about them not to be able to play outside without adutl supervision. that doesnt make sense, you cant keep older kids inside during the warm weather.

Thats NOT true. I have lived here for almost a year and enjoy it. The office staff has required that YOUNG children not be outside unsupervised, but that is because these "parents" were letting their kids run wild! A kid even left an apartment and went to a neighbor's asking the nieghbor to babysit them because "mom is still sleeping and I'm hungry." I know this is true, because the neighbor is a friend of mine. I made one complaint last year about the kids outside, without their parents, and a few others did as well. The staff probably realized it was a problem and decided to do something about it, as they should! As a parent, I DO expect my two little kids to be with me AT ALL TIMES and not to be unsupervised, bothering others in the community, but most of all, I care about the safety of my children and will not leave them outside, alone, ANYWHERE! I thinks it wonderful that the staff takes the initiative to ensure a peaceful place to live.

I have no doubt in my mind that Brook Run is a great place to live..... I have lived here for almost 3 years. The person, (we all know who I'm talking about,) that wrote this review is only mad because they had the police called on them for partying at all hours of the night and morning and were giving their kids NIQUIL to Sleep so they could party....... Witnessed it myself...... They never watched their kids. The poor little kids would be outside walking all over trying to find someone to watch them because the MOM was too busy sleeping all day....... I feel sorry for whatever community they LIED to get into because they are basically unfit parents and could care less about anyone other than themselves..... Probably should have thought things through before posting these lies because everyone knows who you are. You are the only people that allowed your little children outside with basically no clothes on and you never knew where your kids were or who they were with. You would let perfect strangers live in your apartment and put your own kids on the COUCH!!!!! WOW, aren't you the parents of the YEAR!!!!LOL Oh, as far as the staff, they ROCK !!!!! They are so caring and responsive to your needs regardless of what this person says. Basically, it's obvious this person was evicted. Here is the TRUE RUN DOWN of Brook Run.... The apartments are affordable, maintenance is always there when you need them, the staff is exceptional and very friendly. The property is absolutely beautiful and alot of fun for kids. However, if you are like the person who wrote the negative review, then you may re-think where you live. Brook Run cares about the kids in this community. They don't want little children UNSUPERVISED because they CARE. It is your job as a parent to watch over your children. I have no desire to live anywhere else......

The staff does not share the same ideas mentioned in the response. We, at Brook Run Apartments do not "enjoy" evicting people or losing people for any reason. We strive to provide a peaceful and enjoyable place to live. It is very simple, if you pay your rent, if you pay your utilities, and follow the community policies, you do not risk being evicted. We have worked very hard the past 2 years and have overcome many obsticles left by prior management to make Brook Run what it is today, and what we hope it will continue to be.
