My fiancee and I lived at the Columns on Wetherington from August 2006 to August 2007. We moved out because we bought a house in Ohio, closer to work and to family.

In the year during which we lived there, I cannot say that I once had a problem with management or maintenance. All the folks there were very helpful and courteous. Heck, my dog even liked 'em, and she doesn't like anyone! :)

The unit we were in (in the 1609 building) was a spacious apartment, though the unit above us, for some time, was a contract apartment for Delta/Comair employees, and I think it served as temporary housing for some of their trainees while they were training. There was a lot of move-in/move-out activity above us, so that made for a slightly more noisy environment, but then we wound up with a Chinese family that didn't speak any English up there, so I couldn't ask them to contain the boisterous behavior of their children without getting anything but a smile and a chuckle. This, however, wasn't the fault of management -- it's just apartment living. We decided we didn't want to live with people above or below us anymore, so we bought a house. For apartment living, though, it's prime.

Very clean, well-maintained, and one of the more upscale atmospheres of any apartment community I've yet seen, and I've lived in a few. You won't be sorry. Since it is a little pricier, you usually don't have to worry about riff-raff moving in. Otherwise, it is a relatively quiet community in which you'll enjoy living.
