My husband and I have only been here a little over a month, but I wanted to let everyone know that Normandy Green from day one has been great!! We just moved to the area and had searched for over a month for a place to live. We have a large dog which made it difficult to find a place that would take him, but Normandy doesnt have a weight restriction. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment, which i think is a great size. When we came to look at Normandy Green, the office staff was very nice and helpful and they showed us the apartment that we would actually get instead of showing us a really nice one and actually ending up with something else after you sign the lease, like other places wanted to do. We saw the apartment at around 10:00 am and by 12:30 the same day we got a phone call and were told we got approved and we could move in the next day. The process was so simple and quick. All of our appliances work great and look great. It is hard to believe that this place is older. You can NOT tell at all. BIG closet space, very nice kitchen cabinets, nice carpet, good size bedrooms, and great property care. Since we have been here in the last month and 1/2, the grass has been cut 4 times. You never have to worry about walking your dog and the grass touching your legs. Yes, since you are next to an airport, you will hear planes, duhh, but it is not noticable unless you are really trying to listen to it. parking is not the best, since you only get one spot, but we have never had a problem. Our apartment is on the end, so there are always open extra spots for us. The day we moved in, a very nice man showed us around the entire apartment and was helpful. We have had to contact emergency maintanence one time. We didnt have any hot water when we first moved in, and i hadnt noticed it for a couple of days because we werent sleeping here at night yet, but when i did notice it, i called the number at around 10:30pm and got called back by 10:40. He said that he would come out right then, but i told him it could wait until the morning, so we set up a time, and he came first thing in the morning, no waiting period. If anyone is considering moving here, you are doing the right thing. although, we havent been here that long, i do think it is very nice. I will have to review again after about the 6 month.

UPDATE: I HAVE NOW LIVED HERE ABOUT 8 MONTHS, AND YES I DO STILL LOVE IT HERE! ONE THING HAS CHANGED FROM MY REVIEW! PARKING IS ABSLOUTELY THE WORST EVER! YOU ONLY GET ONE PARKING SPOT, AND SOMEONE ELSE ALWAYS HAS IT, BECAUSE THE PARKING SPOT NUMBER IS SO WORN OFF THAT YOU CAN BARELY SEE IT, AND EVEN THOUGH I HAVE MENTIONED THIS TO THE STAFF OVER A MONTH AGO ABOUT GETTING THE NUMBERS RE-PAINTED, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! I WORK LATE AND WHEN I GET HOME AT MIDNIGHT, MY PARKING SPOT IS ALWAYS TAKEN! AND NO MATTER HOW MANY NOTES I LEAVE ON CARS, IT ALWAYS HAPPENS! SO, I WILL BE RE-PAINTING THE NUMBER MYSELF SOON! OTHER THAN THAT, THE OFFICE STAFF IS VERY NICE, UNDERSTANDING AT TIMES, AND THE MAINTENCE STAFF IS GREAT! THIS WINTER, DURING OUR BAD SNOW DAYS, MY CAR GOT STUCK IN MY PARKING SPOT, AND MAINTENCE CAME VERY QUICKLY TO HELP ME! I WAS VERY IMPRESSED! SO, IF THEY COULD JUST WORK ON PARKING, IT WOULD BE GREAT!

I have live here 4 years and I have never seen such lousy response to service calls. I asked to have the fixtures in my tub in the upstairs replaced due to them being tarnished, that was two years ago and still they haven't replaced these fixtures. In the late fall the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink will back up causing filthy water to back up and sit in the sinks. They never know what causes this. They never clean off the sidewalks during the winter the residents in the townhouses clean those off and spread their own salt at their own cost. The pool parties they have given have concluded in drunken free for alls, where the Florence Police have had to break them up. They constantly have the Florence Police running through the neighborhood due to illegal activity on the property or someone running from the local businesses that have stolen something. We pay $860.00 per month to live in projects that are worse than Covington's City Heights. There is pot smoking that goes on in the evening outside on the front lawn, not in the back or in their homes, but right out front before God and everyone to see. I have notified management and the Florence Police and of course unless they catch them in the act they can't arrest them. Don't move your families here my experience has been a horrifying nightmare, and I can't wait to leave.

how much did they pay you to write this? me and my cousin both lived here. she literally had a HOLE in her ceiling from where pipes burst when we first moved in in the summer 2006. DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT STAYED THERE? well, it is still there. they just puttied it over w/o fixing it the right way. there is so much drug dealing and using there its unbelievable. i am so glad i moved out. my lease couldn't have been up sooner. glad someone likes it.
