We've been at Normandy for over a year and it was horrible from day one. They had two weeks before we moved in to replace the downstairs carpet which literally crunched when you walked on it. They waited until three days after we moved in. From there, well:

-Dog dookie is everywhere, even on the sidewalk.
-Parking is not enforced, nor is there enough to go around
-Maintenance is nice, but not knowledgable
-Management is also nice, but takes no action
-Residents are scary - in our building alone we have to druggies, one dealer, three pets that aren't watched, two people who play rap until the cops come at midnight and four families with kids they don't watch
-Construction makes life difficult
-Unattended kids everywhere
-It is REALLY expensive to keep comfortable, AC or heat.

I have had my car vandalized and our neighbors had eggs pelted at them all by the same resident and mangement won't do anything about it.

The only good thing is the location, once you get past the traffic, you really are close to everything, but that's not a price I'm willing to pay. We're on month-to-month until we can find somewhere else to go.
