Let me start by saying that this is the opinon of a very posivitive and laid back person. TAKE MY ADVICE

On the Upside:
The girls in the office and the maintenance guys are all SUPER nice.
The two bedroom town homes are spacious.
It s cheap

On the Downside:

SMELL PROBLEMS
When I looked at the Normandy Green I told them that I specifically did not want an apartment that had previously had a pet. When I moved into the apartment a dog smell was slightly apparent. I didn t complain because AT FIRST it wasn t too bad. With in a week (with the apartment being shut up) it reeked of smoke and dog. The carpet was filled with dog hair. They refused to replace my carpet AND told me that they couldn t smell anything! Ridiculous! They did clean it a couple times and order the ozone machine which helped a lot, but the dog hair is still on the carpet.

POOR GOUNDS
In the winter they do not clear the sidewalks ever! The only reason I would move here is if I needed a bigger apartment and was desperately poor.

PACKAGES DELIVERED
I got married in October so I had many packages coming in from UPS. If I was not home they would sometimes send the packages to the apartment office. one package was sent to the office in late early October and sat there for 3 months! No one from the apartment office notified me (neither note nor phone call) that I had a package. I stopped in the office in late December and they told- 3 months later! If you are a woman, you understand that is it nice to get your wedding gift promptly and send out thank you s ASAP

QUALITY OF APARTMENT
All the closet doors jam
You can hear the conversations of the people next to(very thin walls)
The neighbor's smoke comes through the vents (poor ventilation)


FREQUENT INSPECTIONS
They asked me too completely take everything out of my kitchen cabinets three months in a row. They wanted to spray for bugs-which is great BUT: the first time they lost my key and couldn t get in, the second time I don t think they came, and the third time I refused to clear my cabinets because

PARKING
They give you a wonderful parking spot right in front of your apartment with your apartment number on it. You would think that no one would steal it. THINK AGAIN. Finding a spot to park is tough on the weekends

CHEAP'
The price of the apartment looks cheap but that s because they make you pay the water and sewage bill which is about $20-40 per month.

CABLE
I pay $25 extra for cable through the apartment office. It sucks. We are supposed to get like 75 channels. Football fans: the Bengals and superbowl channels are really fuzzy- so fuzzy we gave up.
