we have had nothing but problems. So many things needed to be fixed in our unit from day one...including smoke alarms that wouldn't stop beeping, broken patio door, hot water heater that leaks, missing parts in appliances, ROACHES, stained and nasty bathtub, cracked walls, old carpet...the list goes on and on. On top of it all, the walls are EXTREMELY thin, and we have obnoxious neighbors I can't wait to move out

Well Erin we hope you find a place that suits your every need! Normandy Green is not brand new and you will have neighbors like this any where you go! Advice to you is to buy a home!

I have live here 4 years and I have never seen such lousy response to service calls. I asked to have the fixtures in my tub in the upstairs replaced due to them being tarnished, that was two years ago and still they haven't replaced these fixtures. In the late fall the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink will back up causing filthy water to back up and sit in the sinks. They never know what causes this. They never clean off the sidewalks during the winter the residents in the townhouses clean those off and spread their own salt at their own cost. The pool parties they have given have concluded in drunken free for alls, where the Florence Police have had to break them up. They constantly have the Florence Police running through the neighborhood due to illegal activity on the property or someone running from the local businesses that have stolen something. We pay $860.00 per month to live in projects that are worse than Covington's City Heights. There is pot smoking that goes on in the evening outside on the front lawn, not in the back or in their homes, but right out front before God and everyone to see. I have notified management and the Florence Police and of course unless they catch them in the act they can't arrest them. Don't move your families here my experience has been a horrifying nightmare, and I can't wait to leave.

I have to agree with all the NEGATIVE comments on this site about Normandy Green, It has been Hell from day one as well, being stuck there another year is something my room mates and I dread as well, Maintnance has yet to fix the towel racks that fell out of the walls, the screen to my front window which was STOLEN, the hot water that never gets hot, the mice that infested my APT I had to personally spend my own money on mice traps to fix this, my fridge went out ruined 300$ worth of groceries and was not compensated for any of this, the hood rats who's parents think its ok for there children to dart across the streets in front of cars, stand in the middle of the road and laugh because cars cant pass and then stand out there like the white trash they are and scream when there children almost become speed bumps.. The nasty graffiti on the walls.. This is by far the worst apt complex I have ever rented and as you can see the classy management is the topping to the cake!!!

I have been looking at the comments made about this apt complex and I need to step in and say a word or two. Whining about your little problems over the internet is NOT going to fix your problems. Read your lease! You do have rights, IF you know how to excercise them. For the person who's food was ruined, can you PROVE you had $300.00 ruined? Do you have receipts? Do you have renter's insurance??? If you have issues that are not being addressed, then you have the right to inform the management by letter...and putting your rent into escroe until the problem is fixed! Stop whining and get with the program. Home is what YOU make it.

Well I was looking at NOrmandy Green as a possible rental but woth all the drama going on there I think I will keep on searching. I've read enough to know that some of these complaints are valid adn I don't want the drama.

I have lived here for about 3 years, I have seen a ton of people come in and out of this place but I agree if you dont like it MOVE. And I was up at the office a few days ago and the guy is not gone and they have a new girl in there. Neither of the girls have been here that long but everytime I call I get what I need. I have heard the the owner or whoever she is can be a B* but I think if the girls there now can tuff it out the year then the place will turn around. I hope anyway!

The girls in the office now have no clue what they are doing, and no idea what they are getting into, i know the ppl that worked there before them and i hear everything there is to know about the head owner Stacy walton, and yes she is a b*. I wish the girls luck but the girls in the office before actually sent letters around and let people know what was goin on and newsletters, now its just a bunch of kids running around and police coming in every other day. O well.. cant wait to move out

Ok, why poeple know so much about the office staff is... confusing to me where do you get the time to stalke them? And crime has no address its everywhere and so are children, your lucky the police are coming in that way if there is a real "real" issue they can address it. And as I am sure you are aware poeple do not get arrested on gossip.. my suggestion is get a job life etc...somthing..

Apparently, whomever posted last needs to return to school or get your GED. This is what I'm talking about people, the trash that live at this complex can't function anywhere else in society. They either are on Welfare, HUD, or some other subsidized income. So they don't understand what it takes to get up everyday and go to a real job they can't comprehend it. They are so use to manipulating the system to satify their needs that they don't understand the concept of fulfillment and accomplishment, therefore lacking ambition. That's the main problem with this complex it used to be a decent place at one time many years ago but that time has long passed. Honestly, there are a few people that are decent for the most part but the majority need to be removed. Your community is the way it is because management has to fulfill a quota, they must maintain a occupancy percentage to be profitable. Their not going to check backgrounds or past rental historys when it affects their occupancy percentage. In short, they don't care who lives in this community as long as a warm body fills the apartment to meet the quota for the time being, so you'll have constant turnover until a better manager or management is hired. And don't think that's going to happen unless they sell the place. The Florence Police will always be a constant there as long as the criminal element exist in this community. As long as management continues to not making a commitment to doing thorough background checks keeping the hoodrats and criminal element out your going to have this project like atmosphere. The police don't resolve any issues in this community their either picking people up on parole violations, domestic abuse or the occasional cat fight or baby momma drama . But you can move if this isn't the way that you like to live, don't feel bad most people don't live this way. What kind of rationalization is it though when you mention that Crime and Children go hand and hand? Who thinks like this? It's pretty lousy parenting when you make excuses for your own ineptitude as a parent. Rather than watch your children you would rather they be in harms way, in front of a car, or worse yet in the company of a pediophile, you make no logical sense. No one is stalking management their just asking that they do their job better, the property has more or less become Crown Court just with a pool.

If you have completed an education at a university or a college and have a descent job, you do not want to live in this place. You will not fit in. My husband and I really hate this place.
