Lived here a very long time ago-over 20 years ago when I was a kid and they were newer. Now, been here a short time (few months) it has good and bad. Our unit, a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath townhouse in the back on the left, backing up to Lynn Street. Our appliances are all very old-not canary yellow or pea green, but the next newer after those. However, though they aren't pretty, they work just fine. Our air was broken when we moved in, which we called about late Saturday, they were there first thing Monday morning and fixed it-works fine now, was just out of coolant. Kitchen floor pretty scratched up. We had brand new carpet. Painters who did the apt before we moved in must have been blind in certain areas of the apt though-nothing shows, just different colors of white paint. Front window screen was bent like someone tried to get in-no biggie-just bent it back. Prior tenant had left some trash on the back patio. Biggest complaint about unit itself-spiders! I am a clean freak so I don't have bugs-just spiders. Neighbors are pretty quiet, with the exception fo the dogs who like to get out on the porch and bark themselves stupid at various hours of the night. There ARE many kids whom parents obviously don't care about letting them run around completely unattended-and these are young kids-some look 3-4 years old. Many of the same parents I assume, don't care about the toys either, as they are strewen about the property and cars continually run them over. The cops seem to be out every weekend for some shennanigans, typically not in the back where I am but more toward the front of the complex. Parking definately sucks if you want to have company. i have had someone in my spot twice-blown the horn and they came out and moved. I do smell smoke sometimes thru the vents which annoys me to no end having a small child and being a non smoker. Staff is very sweet. Lets just say overall-you pay for what you get. If you move somewhere that is partially section 8 or HUD housing, your going to get a place like this. If you don't mind a borderline trailer park type of apartment complex this place is fine. I don't care as I just keep to myself. It is cheap, close to everything, and pretty good size. Overall I would say I am neutral. But you get good and bad anywhere you go. An apartment is just that. If you want quiet and privacy-go buy or rent a house. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something cheap and halfway decent.

yeah cheap if you get hud or section 8. what about the people who move in who are obvioulsy about hud or section 8 and pay the full rent amount and still are subjected to hud inspections and hud tenants
