First of all, let me mention how friendly, honest and devoted the management and maintenance staff at Parkland are. Both Tracy and Margie are two very welcoming managers who were very patient and understanding of my apartment needs. Smitty and Becky, the two maintenance staff, are always on the ball. When I first moved in I noticed a small water leak coming from under my sink and the next day Smitty had it fixed. My car got stuck last winter when we had that terrible ice store and Smitty dropped his shovel to push me out. The staff has become family to me. They are dependable and I have seen them go above and beyond what is required of them.

I love how the complex has regular Crime Prevention meetings where the Florence Police attend and answer any questions or concerns I have. I feel safe knowing that Parkland goes to such great extents to keep the community safe.

The social events, parties and holiday celebrations are a lot of fun. My experience with the other residents have been pleasant. It seems the only trouble makers are the people who disrespect the managers, staff and other residences. But problems are quickly taken care of.

The complex is kept as clean as possible and the access to surrounding stores, gas stations and restaurants is great. You can't get much better if you're looking for location.
