At first, this place was very nice. Then they let their parking lot go downhill fast. My review is sort of the total opposite of the last one referring to parking. Since our building is at the very end of the street/parking lot, parking was never a problem until they decided to implement the reserved parking with only 4 guest parking spots for the end building. Of these 4 guest spots, 2 of them are constantly taken due to two of the tenants having multiple vehicles and leaving their other vehicle parked 95% of the time. Two of the four spots were recently occupied by a large dumpster due to the new roofing project. This did not help matters. By the way, on day one of the roofing project, the roofers were boozing it up on Budwiser all afternoon long in the storage garage which housed their supplies (very professional).
Now on to the real issue that absolutely infuriates me. NAILS IN THE PARKING LOT!!! With the recent windstorm, roof damage was inevitable and so was the new roofing. Understandably, when roofers are replacing a roof, there will be a lot of nails around the area that drop to the ground. This is just something that goes along with the project. However, I have personally picked up 33 nails from the parking lot, just waiting to flatten someone s tire. These nails did not come from the sidewalk, or the grass, these came from the common parking lot. Not to mention the 2 tires that I had plugged because roofing nails flattened them. I m not asking for much here, just every couple of days please go back and pick up the nails in the parking lot. If I personally have to pickup 33 nails, I really doubt if the management cares about the safety of their tenants. This is why I will be looking for a new apartment community once my lease is up.

Hey, thanks for picking up nails! We live in that same building. We had a flat tire as well, but figured it was just part of the package of "Ike"'s damage. I saw the maintenance men cleaning them up, I saw the roofers cleaning them up, AND tenants cleaning them up. That is teamwork and the way it is supposed to be! Again, thanks! About the parking. We have only one car and someone keeps trying to steal our spot. We are thankful for the reserved parking because then we can at least park our one car and have cause to make folks move out of our one spot. If we have guests, we inform them ahead of time and kindly give our guest OUR reserved spot and we park farther away for them. Don't think buying a house will change how you feel about things. You'll just have other issues with the neighborhood. Been there, done that!
