Plan on getting a bill when you move out!

I lived at the Trellises for two years. I also agree parking is rediculous. They have removed a couple of the pay parking areas to add more parking (only because Uhauls hit them and they didn't replace them)
After moving out plan on getting a nice bill over and above your deposit with no justification other than we don't know how old the carpet was or WE ARE SENDING YOU TO COLLECTIONS even though we haven't provided proof that you owe us money.

WOW!! The same thing happened to me. I got the same letter. Only I am going to do something about it. You could not pay me to live at that dump again. The office staff is a good enough reason to not live at Trellises. They can get drunk by the pool (make you sign a waiver not to) and then send you to collections after having a perfect move out inspection. Such a great place NOT to live.

Oops, you must have been under the impression that you can do whatever you want to your apartment and not pay for the damages. Sorry, but that is common sense and if you don't know how to respect property that doesn't belong to you, maybe you should buy your own. I've been renting for 4 years now and I'm extra careful to keep from getting the same kind of bill.

same thing happen to me. Respect the property impressed and happy. That is not the issue. It is that they send you invoice made out on word with no justification. The renter rights state that apon vacating any property that the property has an obligation to review your apartment with you and point out all the areas you will be charged for. Then you have the option to dispute it if you disagree. Never once was I approached about my apartment merely told where to leave my keys. Then I received a bill for 200.00 over my security deposited. Check out the renters bill of rights that have been adopted by almost every state including Kentucky. Once I brought it to their attention that they didn't give me any notice or allow me to see any of the problems. They told me the carpet had to be replace when I asked to see the worn carpet they said it had already been thrown away. Then I asked will let me see the new carpet or the invoice, they stalled for a week but eventually gave me my entire deposit back. This is a scam plan and simple they produce charges that are out right lies plain and simple. I didn't have to put up much of a fight to get mine back, just explain there word was not good enough and I wouldn't accept it as proof.
