Trellises Apartments office staff is out of control

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am unfortunately locked in a year lease here and at first I liked the place, but because of all the the issues with the staff, I dont think I will be staying. I just moved here from out of stat and was in a crunch for a place, due to my career. When I came in to see these apartments, the staff seemed like they had no idea what was going on and I almost didn't rent here, but due the fact I was out of time and had to move in a few days, I just decided to come here. The first problems were they didn't have the layout that I was originally set up to get, so I just took what was available. When I moved in the window was broken, the dishwasher didn't work, and when they said it was fixed it wasn't multiple times. Then I drop off dry cleaning in the office and asked how to pay the office girl said, "don't worry there no charge, its on us." SO I though wow, thats amazing and asked, " are you sure'" She said yes. Then $400.00 and a week later I found out she was wrong and didn't know what she was talking about. I was still fine with living here and thought, people make mistakes and I can deal with it until what happened next. There is never any parking here, so I thought I would just get a carport, so when I went to the office to get one and paid for it with my rent early. Well they wouldn't give me the pass unless I brought some pass back to them that they gave me when I moved in and since I didn't know where it was they charge me 20.00 and the girl said they would write it down as lost so they would know to tow any car that ever had it on the windshield. So eventually i got the pass anput it on my windshield and parked in my carport. I WENT TO MY CAR TO GO TO WORK AND MY CAR WAS MISSING THE NEXT MORNING! I almost called the police, but I called the office multiple times and two hours later they called back and verified they towed it! They tried to say they could see the pass that late at night, which it was very visible and she even tried to tell me that my plates were expired, which they don't until next year! So I had to take a taxi to work and get my car on my lunch break and pay for it to get out! They said they will reimburse me for the money on my next months rent. What about the stress, what about me being 2 hours late for work, how about my taxi fee, time off work, and I could have lost my job that I moved down here for I didn't do anything to deserve this and That to me is OUT OF CONTROL!

Personally, I think the staff does an excellent job of running this complex and this guy is crazy. I guess some people are just impossible to please. Everyone has to use a parking sticker or they get towed and you are no exception to that rule! Next time you sign a lease, read it first because you agreed to be towed at your own expense if your sticker is not visible. Thank you Trellises office staff for clearing another parking spot. Keep up the good work girls!
