I moved here after living in my own home for years. The office staff was wonderful and my new home is GREAT!!!! I have read these other reviews and I am so sorry that these people are so unhappy with their lives. When renting an apartment you are doing just that, renting not buying. I am recommending this community to my friends and think that when people do not pay their rent on time or cause trouble and the office makes them do right that they just complain. The office staff are wonderful ladies and they always go out of their way to help me. Maintenance is always right on top of any issues and I can not brag enough about my new home. The lake is so peaceful and the ducks are delightful to sit and watch. Come see this wonderful jewel that is well hidden in Ft. mitchell.

I couldn't disagree more. My rent was paid on time always. I made several improvements to the dwelling that were necessary and not met by the propietor. The lake is filled with debris! The maintenance staff has changed more times than I can count and they are anything but proficient in their work. The office "ladies" are rude to say the least. They do not care about the residents. Their only concern is to have the units rented in any condition and most of the conditions are not fit for human habitat. I owned a lakefront home for 42 yrs. before moving to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I chose Ft. Mitchell because of it's stature. This apartment complex is a disgrace and if you have found it adequate then I feel sorry for you. Read the countless reviews over several years. I think the negatives far out weigh your opinion.

This person is either a Lakeside Village shill, or an employee posing as a resident, because nothing this person (anonymous of course) describes is anything representative of what Lakeside Village even remotely resembles. I think what Ellen Burnstein states in her reply to this review, is fairly accurate. Now, the latest manager, I will give the benefit that she is very upfront and down to business in my experiences to date, and doesn't pull punches. Unlike all of the previous managers who were fairly inept at lying, let alone wanting to get the residents issues resolved, this manager here seems to be more on the ball, and she has her hands full and tells it like it is.

If this person doesn't work for Lakeside then no one does. The people in the office are rude and insulting and will go out of their way NOT to help you. This place would be a nice place to live if you didn't have any problems while you lived here.

I recently signed a 6 month lease with Fountains. The ladies in the office were very nice and took the time to answer any questions that I had. At no time did I hear anything that would have raised a red flag for me. New addition added: Have had numberous problems including a water leak from the pool that damaged the interior wall,still waiting for that to be repaired weeks later, faulty light switches, crickets, shower leaks, and no building number in the event of an emergency. I have a medically fragile daughter, so EMS needs to know which building she's in. I'm ready to purchase the numbers myself. My debit card was stolen from my postal box, which doesn't have a lock on it. I will be moving as soon as I can.
