It's been a great experience

I've lived at Hampton Farms for the past 4 years, and am only moving because I got a job in another state. The rent has gone up quite a bit since I first moved in, but to be honest I've been OK with that - I think it's worth it to have a place where I felt very safe and comfortable, and is so close to downtown. Management and the maintenence people have always been really helpful and friendly. Luckily I haven't had to call on maintenence for much of anything while I've been here, just a few minor things. And it is true that there are a lot of college kids here - there is noise some nights, and the odd broken bottle in the parking lot, but it's nothing out of control. You're going to have some noise no matter what apartments you live in - this was really nothing bad at all. The thing I have appreciated is that management has been actively trying to make the place better the whole time I've been here. They enlarged one of the parking lots when space got cramped; the whole place got repaved last year, etc. It shows they actually care about making this a nice place to live. I've lived in plenty of places where that was not the case, and it definitely made the whole experience better.
