Don't come to Highland Ridge to live.

We've had so many problems with this apartment. It is way too overpriced for the horrible condition it's in and they don't want to do anything about fixing it.

We tried to get out of our lease because we were so unhappy with this place but there was no way out.

Before we moved in, they changed us to three different apartments before giving us the one we lived in. The day before we moved in, the old tenants moved out. On our move in day, the carpets were still wet from being "cleaned" and there wasn't new paint on the walls as promised (they never did get painted because they claimed they'd painted them that first day). We weren't allowed to see the actual apartment we were going to move into before we did.

Walls are cracked, paint is all over the base boards, the "wood" on the doors/ cabinets/ baseboards is old, warped and outdated, kitchen is very small and not layed out well, dishwasher and fridge leak, mold growing inside wall behind water heater, tile in bathroom is coming up behind toilet, stains on tiles, paint on back porch floor is horribly falling off, fireplace cracked, carpet is old, stained, and worn, condensation/dirt stains on windows to the point you can't see out, paint on steps going up to apartments is falling off to the point you can see the wood, place is overall outdated and unattractive, chunks of wall missing on corners, unfilled holes in walls, air conditioning breaks every few months, maintence is horrible to get a hold of or to respond to requests, unresponsible old management but new management is very good.

As mentioned before, this place is way too overpriced for the condition the apartments are in. It's close to NKU's campus but you're better off living farther away and paying less than living here.
