I love living at Eagle Creek

I currently live at Eagle Creek Apartments and I love it. Our neighbors are very nice, and quiet. The animal policy is not very expensive only $15 per pet. The carpets were in very good conditon when moving in. There was a funky old apartment smell when we first moved in but that comes with any apartment, and once living here for about 2weeks the smell was gone. There is a lot of space in every room. I looked at alot of apartments before deciding to move in here and out of all the apartments I looked at the kitchen space topped all the other apartments, it's not very big width wise but it is very long and has lots of counter-space. We do have a dishwasher, that doesn't work very well and in fact actually sometimes makes our dishes dirtier afterwards than they were prior to putting them in. There is lots of cabinet space, except no garbage disposal, which would be nice but oh well I can live without. The bathroom is in great condition, brand new cabinets and flooring were put in. There's lots of empty apartments around us and they have been empty for a long time. It's back of the road a little which is nice, I don't think a lot of people even know these apartments are back here. Even though Turkeyfoot sucks to drive on and the construction isn't making it any better there's lots of alternative routes all over to getting here. The kids around here can get pretty loud at times but I don't even think that it's kids that live in Eagle Creek, I'm pretty sure it's the apartments across the creek. A group of teenage kids were sitting outside our apartment on the sidewalk leading to the pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and club hitting a hammer on the blacktop we stuck our head out and yelled at them and they were quick to get on their way. I've never seen anybody getting arrested out front and the only time I ever see the police is if their sitting in the parking lot trying to catch people speeding. But how you gonna complain about the police sitting out front unless your up to no good, it makes me feel a little safer knowing that they do make a run back here. My only complaint is parking and maintence. There's been a couple things that I reported to the office and the maintence men were quick to come in and check it, but said nothing was wrong with whatever it was we reported but I know that there is something wrong with it, I mean your AC is supposed to shut off at some point, ours doesn't we have to get up and turn it off when it gets too cold, so at night we can't even have the AC on, but it really doesn't get that hot in here. The windows leak air pretty bad, but that's easily fixed with some weather stripping. Parking sucks if you get home past 8pm. I think alot of people in our complex either have parties(which we never hear any) or have extra people living in their apartment that aren't on their lease cause there's more empty apartments around us then there were when we moved in and parking when we first moved in was great now we have to park way far away from our apartment, it doesn't help that the jerk with the motorcycle parks up front and doesn't move his dumb bike for over 2 months and leaves the cover on it when it's freaking snowing outside, I just don't think a bike in the middle of winter needs to be parked in the same spot out front, but luckily he moved it to the back part of the parking. There's also some broken down cars, some with no tires just sitting around taking up valuable parking. I think that they need assigned parking and guest parking to make some of their residents happier. It's a very quiet laid-back atmosphere, I feel very safe living here, and so far haven't had any problems yet. I recommend this place to anyone.
