I have been a tenant at Eagle Creek Apartments for nearly 4 years now and I can not wait for my lease to end. I am embarrassed to have any people come over so I never do. Many residents leave their garbage in the hallways for days at a time. The hallways stink. The carpet in the hallway is constantly littered with mud, cigarette butts and ashes, dead bugs, you name it. The grounds surrounding the building are no better. At times, it looks like it has snowed in the middle of the summer due to all of the cigarette butts lying around. Add in all of the beer cans, soft drink bottles, fast food wrappers and bags and you have the feeling of living in a land fill. The area where the dumpsters are located are an absolute disgusting site to view. Many people just throw their trash in front of the dumpster instead of putting it in. There is garbage all over the dumpster area, because Rumpke dumps the trash in the dumpster but leaves the trash surrounding it. Therefore, animals tear open the bags of garbage to get the old food and spread the garbage everywhere.
The bottom line is, the manager of this apartment is lazy and does not do her job. She never leaves the office unless she is putting late notices on peoples doors or showing an apartment to the next trashy resident that they are going to let move in. You would think that the job of the apartment manager is to make sure the grounds and building are maintained and kept nicely. However, that would require her getting up and walking around and looking at the filth. How does she explain the filth when showing an apartment'
Complaining to her provides no relief. She just says she is going to look into it but never does, and if she does, she never follows up on it. The bottom line is, Eagle Creek is a disgusting, trashy apartment complex because the manager allows it to be that way due to her laziness. She needs to be fired or this place will never be clean.
