My son moved into Fairway Park Apts.(they should change the name) because fair is not in their vocabulary. It seems all of the paperwork that he signed when he moved in has mysteriously disappeared, which included all the things in the apt. that needed fixed when he moved in. So now they are charging my son for all the repairs that were in need of fixing before he moved in. He gave 30 days notice, before he moved out. Guess what' Now they
can't find the written notice that my son gave them. My son did everything that he was supposed to do, except get copies of all the paperwork that he signed. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE: IF YOU DECIDE TO MOVE IN, GET EVERYTING IN WRITING, AND MAKE SURE YOU KEEP A COPY. By the way, I don't think they can do the math either. The security deposit was 300.00. Even if they charge for the cleaning, etc., how is it that my son owes them money'

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. She actually found out that what they are trying to do is illegal. I would tell your son to get a lawyer.

I agree... they tended to overcharge us for rent.. we knew how much we owed for rent each month.. then they'd have letters on our door sayin we owed more.. haha!!! OOPS.. Learn your math ----!!!
