Brandywine was not the best place I've lived, but not the worst either.

The rent was a little high, but the apartment was spacious. The laundromat was far away, as was the dumpster, so that was a negative. The office staff at the time was very nice, although I cannot speak for the current management, I have not lived there for a few years.

Even at the time, the tenants were often undesirable. For instance, while we were on vacation, we received a noise complaint. Management was kind enough to disregard it, since we could prove we were out of town at the time of the complaint. We had several run-ins with neighbors complaining about noise from our apartment... when we weren't there, or when we were asleep.

These are not problems that management could have prevented but it does speak to the kind of residents they rent to. I did not feel safe in the complex, and did not like to come home after dark.
