Bridle Creek apartments are very poorly run. The place may look decent on first pass, but it is all superficial. Let me list some of the issues.
1) trash dumpster is ALWAYS full and overflows by atleast half. There have been times when you couldn't get within 20 feet of the dumpster due to the trash piled up on the outside. You would think they could adjust their disposal contract to come more often.
2) Very little green space in the complex and what little they have can't be used to play with your kid because their is so much dog excrement. Honestly, if you walked on the grass you had to keep your eyes on the ground or you would track it into your apt. Several times someone actually left some in the concrete breeze way. We complained but nothing was ever done.
3) They treat everyone like a college student. My wife and I are professionals and we miscommunicated one month and paid our rent 2 days late. They wouldn't accept our check saying that all late payments had to be a cashiers check...so late fee (my mistake) AND cashiers check fee and trip to bank.
4) They have a serious moisture issue in the apartments. I kick myself for not digging deeper when they asked us to sign a MOLD WAIVER. Yes, they actually have a legal document that you sign when you move in that says you can't sue them if you have mold related issues after you move in. This isn't a "just in case" waiver for them. There was mold EVERYWHERE in the apartment. Every window sill was COVERED with mold when we moved in and only stayed clean for about a month when we washed them with bleach water.
Long review but fairly short message...DON'T MOVE IN HERE!! I have lived in worse back in my college days but it also only cost about $300/month, not $900.

Sounds like there are major issues with this apartment complex! Well, if I were you and your family, I would look into moving to Old Farm Apartments because they are really nice (in my opinion). I have lived in them for two years and really enjoy it). The management here can, yes, sometimes get on your nerves, but not nearly like the ones you have to deal with there. I have never had a problem with mold (accept for maybe in the shower!). We have a pretty good amount of families here too, and not many college students. The area is more family-prone anyway, I think. Just make sure you don't get an apartment all the way in the back of the complex and you should be fine!
