I'm really happy with my stay at Bridle Creek. I had left a very nice but way too overpriced complex the year before, and I wanted to find a 2 bedroom with a washer and dryer included. That seriously narrowed down the search. When I checked out Bridle Creek, the grounds were very beautiful and well-kept. Aside from a gate that doesn't shut (and that's alright with me since I used to visit with someone who had a locked one), all the greenspace is nicely maintained and very aesthetically pleasing. The outside facades resemble molded limestone and the top of the buildings are vinyl siding, a great mix.

I loved the apartment. It is very spacious, even for someone like me who got loaded up on Mom's old furniture when I moved up here. You'll immediately love the open-air feeling between the kitchen and living space. There's a great built-in kitchen island to house your culinary things and enough wraparound space for a microwave, countertop appliances, and spices. There's also a lot of great built-in storage space for food, dishes, and supplies. It seemed like you could tuck almost everything into the kitchen space alone.

The laundry room features a full size washer and dryer.

The bedrooms comfortably accommodate a full-size bedroom set. I have a queen size sleigh bed and I had to get a little creative arranging that, my dresser, and computer desk, but it worked out. Large closets help, too. The master bedroom has an enclosed bathroom. My apartment had a half-bath which had all the amenities of the regular bathroom except it was a shower stall. The one I'm moving into features a full bath.

No apartment experience is perfect. I had my share of maintenance complaints, but it seemed like the office and staff were responsive. Maybe this will get misinterpreted, but I believe it's because I was both nice about placing the order and I was consistent about calling. During some periods like last year's rush to get working air conditioning units all over the place, you might have to check back in a couple of days. Other than that, it's great.

My only enduring complaint was a toilet that clogged too often and having the mowers do landscaping work early in the morning, when I wanted to sleep in. Surprisingly though, the sirens and traffic on Nicholasville Road never bothered me, and my apartment building was adjacent to the highway. The "sweating window" issue worked out as long as I didn't run my heat 24-7. (I preferred a space heater.)

My utilities were also reasonably priced. We used space heaters in the winter and saved a lot of money. Water hardly cost a thing even with frequent dishwasher and W/D usage. I think these apartments feature quite a bit more efficiency than you might expect.

I'm happy with my stay. I think it's really awesome that people in the office know me by NAME and that they're always friendly whenever I'm in the computer lab. Tanning beds, a free sauna and 24-hour gym facility are added bonuses. The pool space is small, but I think it's that way since there are plenty of college kids who live here and don't have to work. But hey, if you were pampered too then you wouldn't complain, I guess.

I also appreciated that the leasing office made it easy for me to transition into a new unit. I was worried about transitioning into a three bedroom unit and, I wasn't sure which apartment I would get, but because I think I was a good tenant during my stay, the office tried to give me the best deal possible. My new unit is right next to the pool and, all I can say is that it'll be a really sweet deal. The three bedroom units are even more impressive than the two and are much more reasonably priced compared to other luxury-style complexes.

Thanks to Bridle Creek for making me a happy renter. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
