yes it appears that office workers are writing reviews...The Fact is Chinoe Creek used to be great till it was Resource Residential. Now its owned by some pathetic company that tries to save money in every which way they can. The maintenance staff finds excuses to not work. Pest control doesn't show up when scheduled. They notified all of the residents on 6/29/2009 that they cannot accept credit card payments for rent that is due on 7/01/2009. And they charge late fee of $75 (Mind you the rent is considered late on THE SECOND DAY OF THE MONTH!). They are cutting trees and AFTER a week of doing this they post a notice saying "tree trimming will continue till the end of the week, please don't park your cars under them". They give you a nice little parking pass so that your "car won't get towed." But the fact is 15-20% of cars on the lot are without permits and in my time here at Chinoe Creek I have never ever seen a tow-truck. Parking is a mess. The pool did not start till mid-June!!! The gym is the most ill-maintained gym ever! Save yourself the hassle and go to a better place! No wonder they are offering move-in specials, because people are moving away! Oh and not to mention they had some mulch and fertilizer put in that made the whole complex stink for about 2 weeks!!

First, I should mention that my car was towed because of an inadequately displayed parking pass, so yes, they do enforce this. Even though you have never seen a tow truck doesn't meant it doesn't happen. In addition, let me state that when my car was towed, I understood why and did not complain. Secondly, to my understanding there is new management and that is why the abrupt change in the credit card acceptance policy. I find no fault with the office in this. Nor do I find fault with the office in regards to pest control. Pest Control is provided by an outside compamy, not Management, so if they don't show up, it's not by fault of the office. We don't pay for pest control so stop complaining. If you want prompt service, PAY FOR IT YOURSELF! I for one am glad they installed new mulch. The old mulch was ugly and I take pride in the fact that where I live looks nice. Again, management has no control over how fresh mulch smells. Take a moment to recongnize that you live somewhere that puts down fresh mulch and has a nice swimming pool and a gym and parking passes; these are all GOOD things! Stop complaining and see all the good that you have living here!

WHY does this review SCREAM "I am a manager/officer person"?? And actually as Rome was not built in a day...the apartment complex was not acquired in a day, they could have given two-to-three week notice! Actually I am sad that being a office person probably you can't even read the lease...because there is a pest control clause. Gym is a good thing? Every professional gym I have seen has a disinfectant and cloth to wipe the equipment after use, there is none here! As far as towing goes, There are 3 cars in front of my building that don't have a pass and haven't been towed in 2 weeks!! They occupy the space and I have to park farther away. Atleast have the guts to list yourself as a property manager!

Chinoe Creek was recently acquired by PRG Real Estate, which took over Saddlebrook at Tates Creek (formerly The Greenhouse) in 2007. I recommend you read the reviews of Saddlebrook at Tates Creek if you would like to see what is going to happen to Chinoe Creek.

Ya i agree with the person above Saddlebrook has like a 16% rating now...people should get out while they can. This place is absolutely ridiculous! What community gives their residents a notice of change of payment policy 2 days before the rent is due? and at the first review: Are you an idiot? or just an incompetent office worker? because READ the darn lease...as in READ..get a magnifying glass if needed. YOU PAY FOR PEST CONTROL! See this is the kind of folks that are running the place now, they have no knowledge of the lease or anything else happening at the property. And yes there are NO tow trucks...and their supposed idea of renovation is to throw in some cheap pool furniture. look at the gym here, and then take a stroll to merrick place ...look at it there...then compare the rents...you won't end up staying here...
