Lets give New Management a Chance

I have read reviews about Chinoe Creek. I am suspicious about the source of the comments. Sounds like bitterness and sour grapes. During renovation we all have to be patient and give the new management a chance to update an older complex. It can't be done overnight. I am home daily and have watched with interest the painters as they go about their business. I find them very professional and pleasant. Our building is being painted... we were warned to move cars, patio, and balcony items.
Some people did not bother and these men had to work around the items left out. One of the men who does the spraying of paint even put covers on cars people parked near building. Every apartment is given notice on their doors of dates and time of painting and black topping. I am excited to see how everything turns out.
As far as the office and management I see no problems yet and hopefully there will be none. When I call and ask to speak with the manager I am sent right to her and all questions were answered and my needs met concerning repairs. There are many things that need to be corrected. Time wears on property . This is a great neighborhood, It would be sad to allow Chinoe Creek to be seen as a second class property. Lets give New owners a chance to get this place back to an up scale complex in an upscale neighborhood.
The complaints written were not true. Lets wait and see...I assure you I am not management. I live here at the complex .. I just believe in giving things a change to change.

I have to agree above. We aren't bitter, its just that management keeps posting fake 5.0 reviews. and they don't do what they should, which is take care of their residents. Has anyone seen any clean up people, cleaning up the common hallways? No! they are dirty with bird poop and dead insects. People here don't clean up after their pets, management doesn't care. I know they can't police but they can at least enforce when they see it. There is one person on the staff that doesn't know anything!

Two things:
1. If these reviews sound bitter, it's because we are not satisfied with our living situations. It's not because we are bitter people. I have talked to A LOT of my neighbors and they feel the same way.
2. The complaints I have seen listed on here are TRUE - I gave witnessed many of these things myself. And my complaints are ABSOLUTELY true... so don't write them off as if they are false.
No one told me about any renovation plans when I signed a lease THREE months ago (you would think they would have known of these plans to renovate by then right?). So I am not willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt when they SHOULD have informed me if their plans... But didn't.

to the person above: did you move in under the previous management? I've lived here for two years going on three and the old management let the grounds fall apart. The new owners want this to be a premier apartment complex in Lexington and the way of doing that is by renovating! I believe once it's finished and things calm down your feelings may change.
