I, like most, normally don't write reviews unless I'm upset with something but I found this sight and thought I would sort of praise the place I call home. I have lived here for a little over a year now and have never had any issues to complain about. If I have a maintenance request they always get to it in a very reasonable amount of time. For the money you really can't beat it. It's a lil off the beaten path, but thats good to me cause I don't have to fight traffic just to get out of my parking lot. I have nice quiet neighbors. The people in the office are always helpful and friendly whenever I go in. I would recommend Cloisters to my friends. Actually, I have several times. It may not be as fancy as some of my friends places but I'm saving $200 to $400 a month. I'm not planning on moving anytime soon.

I guess everyone has their right to like less then quality living conditions. From the other reviews left, I get the same feeling we had when we lived there. You have unhealthy living conditions, you have Adam 12 in the parking lot chasing bad guys. Your heating goes out every winter, like ours did for 5 days. You get sticky yucky when it's hot, because it's only forced, and not truly AC. The pool is a joke, and with my former bedroom window right over the pool on the 3rd floor, your opt to get flashed by many young men around there!! The balconies are falling off the walls (mine had to be reinforced, and lifted). The lights in the hallways would go out, and not be replaced for weeks, and it's darker ten midnight trying to go down 3 flights of stairs. I'm glad someone has a better story then the other 98% of the tenants.
