I have lived at Cross Creek Apts. for a while now. In the beginning, the place was absolutely great; I couldn't complain about anything even with my life on the line. But after the first month or so, the noise level was absolutely ridiculous. It has quietened down a lot since management sent out notices to all the apartments, but if you live on the bottom floor of the building, then you might as well get used to hearing every time your upstairs neighbor gets up to do anything. The apartments, overall, are very nice. The one down side is that if you live on the bottom floor, your windows are literally right on the ground and it's not the most comforting feeling in the world. Don't get me wrong, I haven't had a single problem; it just makes you feel a little uneasy at times if you are by youself {or have just watched a scary movie and became a tad bit paranoid :) } I have not had a problem with maintence fixing anything while I have been here. It's always been done quickly and effectively. Parking is surprisingly not bad at all. There has only been a couple of occassions when I wasn't able to park directly in front of my building and even then, I only had to park maybe 10 feet from where I usually do. Also, the grounds are very nice and well kept. I can't say enough good things about the management here. The assistant manager Christina is very nice and a lot of help, as well as the rest of the staff. Plus, it's an added bonus having all of your utilities paid. I will more than likely stay at Cross Creek until I graduate from UK; granted, I may be in a different apartment, but I'll be here. They have given me no reason to leave and I doubt that I would be able to find a better place for the same price with all that Cross Creek offers.
