My husband and I just moved to Lexington from out of state. I had worked with the office girl over the phone to secure an apartment. I was told the apartment was on the first floor and would have a patio; I was also told gas barbeque grills were not allowed. When we arrived for move in, we were shown a basement apartment with 1/2 size windows, no patio. However, the units WITH patios did indeed have gas and charcoal grills on them. Based on a "current promotion" on apartment finder, we had arranged for $200 off our first month's rent. When we arrived, they played dumb and told us it was for $100. I had a print off from the internet and they were full of excused. The bathroom ceiling in our unit was rapidly dripping--a large puddle on the floor. There was a large hole in the master bedroom closet and the bathrub grout was stained black. Obvisously, we opted not to sign the lease and are now happily residing elsewhere. Make sure you look at the unit they want to lease you, not some model. They are very deceiving!!!

I???m sorry, but much of the above review is simply not true.
We would never promise a first-floor patio unit, as we don???t have any of those available. We have a standard policy regarding grills on patios that is the same for everybody. All of our prices and promotions are in writing, and available at the front desk.
We gave you a choice of two apartments. One of them had an AC leaking in the bathroom, and this was fixed in 30 minutes. The hole in the closet was an access panel to the apartment???s water shut-off. The grout in the tub was not stained black.
We do not have model units. Every apartment we show is a rentable apartment. They???re not perfect, but I believe we provide a good product for a good price.
I???m glad you are happy elsewhere. As you know, I offered to refund your $200 deposit holding an apartment, and I am sticking to that promise despite your incorrect review and false accusations.
I don???t mind that you don???t want to live here. But please don???t attack the integrity of me and my staff.

My girlfriend and I are both students and recently viewed a second floor appartment here at Fayette Crossings, the staff was very honest, caring and friendly. They did not promise us anything as did no one else. We viewed several appartments today and Fayette Crossings was one of the nicest appartments that we were able to come across on our budget. The grounds were pretty clean (unlike some of the others), ALL UTILITIES WERE PAID (for a small reasonable fee), it was kinda up dated, new paint, nice size floor plan and appartment floor layout, and they also had a nice size pool. Overall the grounds were nice and clean, the appartment was in very good condition, (except for the wood enterance door to the appartment). The only other thing that was so-so, was that the appartment did not have a washer and dryer hook - up, but it did have a nice laundry facility onsite that was upkept very well. We are still cocidering leasing Fayette Crossings at this time. Just not sure exactly when we will be able to lease on our behalf.

I think it's funny that even at the top of your review there is an ad that states that if you choose to rent from Fayette Crossing now you will receive an instant savings of $200.00, not $100.00.
