These posters are not kidding when they say 'nickel and dimed'

I also recently moved out of the fountains and surprisingly received a BILL in the mail instead of my deposit. Ridiculous made-up charges including replacement fees for a "$60" blind. Yes a $60 set of replacement blinds which were NOT damaged and $3 for one (yes 1) light bulb that had burned out. You would think that the $200 deposit I had paid would more than cover this but $150 was non-refundable so now I am forced to pay this fee or have my credit dinged. I would definitely not recommend the fountains unless you are ready to be nickel and dimed as punishment for leaving their 'wonderful' community. Since management has changed this property really has gone downhill. I remember last year when their rating was >90% on apartmentratings. Oh well, they have since raised rent and you could make a small mortgage payment for what they charge for a 1-bedroom. Total ripoff and worse is that there is no recourse you can take if you feel like they ripped you off, you must simply pay their inflated fees or they damage your credit.
