Fire Hazard

I understand that living in an apartment is nothing like living in a house. There is noise and other things that need to be taken into account. However, that doesn't mean you should live without hot water for days at a time (in the dead of winter). Nor should you have to live with the constant fear of fire.
I live there now but hope to leave ASAP. I'd like to say the landlord has nothing to do with the shoddy help present here but.. she's about as clueless as the rest of them. The apartments are cheap and utilities are included but that doesn't mean a guarantee that you'll have heat, or water at the same time. In 1 months' time.. I had no hot water 3 days out of every week. And this is NO exaggeration. My only hope is that not all apartments are like this.
You're gonna see the prices and think.. surely I won't be as miserable as everyone says.. it's a bargain. But trust me.. you will and i hope that you're apartment isn't the next to catch fire. Renter's insurance here is a must (if you can even get it!).
