My girlfriend and I have lived at the Meadows for two years, and some of the reviews on this website are correct, but for the most part you pay for what you get.
First and foremost, the parking situation sucks, and if are lucky enough to find a parking space you have to wedge in-between other cars due to the incredibility narrow parking spaces.
The maintenance staff and management is very helpful and extremely kind (especially the maintenance department).
The location is prime off Tates Creek Rd and close to the downtown area and UK, but that's probably a problem.
There are a lot of kids living here, and I am a recent UK graduate and only 25 years old but I've never acted the way these fools do.
One of the major problems has to do with the simple fact that you can hear your neighbors upstairs walk around and flush the toilet.
I know exactly when my upstairs neighbors are home and what they are doing because I can hear every little detail, but that's due to the way they built this place...dirt cheap!
Overall, the Meadows is a nice place to live if you want to be in a great location next to everything.
The rent is not bad, but the parking situation is and so are the college kids living here.
