Bad experience

Years at this apartment: 2007-01-01 - 2008-01-01
My roommate and I were scheduled to move in on the first day of July of 2007.
Our appointment was at 10 am that morning and the girl at the first office didnt show up until after noon and that was after we went and found the maintenence man and he called her.
Once we were moved in we noticed that the insulation was horrible.
The winter months that followed were very cold to say the least.
You could actually see the curtains moving because of the cold air coming through the cracks.
Getting something fixed around here is a nightmare.
We have been trying to get a water leak fixed since October and it is now March.
Everytime it rains we have to sit bowls out and we now have a water stain on our wall.
The next thing to go wrong was the oven.
Our oven stopped working almost 2 months ago and we just now got it fixed and that was just because my Mom had started calling the front office everyday.
They seemed to think they could go without fixing things because I guess we were girls and students.
As everyone else has mentioned, the parking is ridiculous.
Oh yea the jacuzzi that they advertise is a joke.
It is now filled in with concrete.
False advertisement if you ask me.
The real deal breaker would have to be how they actually lost our rent checks and after it was all said and done, we have to pay the late fees as well as two months of rent at the same time and court fees.
That cost us about 1350 dollars all in one day because they couldnt get there crap together.
In conclusion, if anyone thinks they want to moved here, it is not even worth cheap rent rate.
Pay a little more every month and be satisfied.
