A very poor experience.

Very poor management.

And a cockroach infestation to contend with.

My building was not the only building from what I understand either.

I know of two other tenants in different buildings going through the same issues.

I couldn't deal with, so I brought a lawyer to their table to get me out of the lease.

Hope all goes well and you can move, I hate cockroaches and abandoned a lease at one apartment I lived in because of them. I gave the complex fair warning to remedy the situation and reminded them the was no part in my lease that said I was to share my apartment with cockroaches. Long story short I moved out 6 months before my lease was up, they threatened to sue but no legal action was ever taken, the broken lease never even made it to my credit report, that was 17 years ago.
