GHETTO!!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
We just moved after living there for a year and a half. IT HAS BEEN GREAT! We first moved to Old Farm from California, having reserved this apartment for a month. When we show up with our U-Haul after a 5 day cross country drive, they tell try to tell us we reserved an up stairs apt. After arguing and giving them the apt. # we reserved, they finally gave in and let us lease the original apartment. But, apparently there were crack addicts living there who left a horrible mess. We had to stay with my in laws while they had maids clean the inside of the apartment. They did not, however, bother to clean up the trash overflowing on the balcony. By the time I cleaned it myself, I had to use gloves because there were bugs I never knew existed living under it....which created a horrible bug problem in our apt. We had an AWFUL infestation of spiders and roley poleys. The 'spraying' doesn't help. My husband owns a 1968 Firebird - We woke up one morning to find the windshield smashed in. We had to pay $250 to fix it. The management claims to have a security car driving around but really, it's a tenant who works at the freaking jail who lives rent free and never leaves her apartment area. Blugrass Towing targets cars in the parking lot. My husband's truck was towed. And because his windshield was smashed in on his Firebird, we didn't have a window decal. Guess what'! Bluegrass Towing towed the thing even though it's been there for a year and a half. They target cars so watch out!!! The ghetto population from the other end of Appian Way is quickly moving towards the Tates Creek area and filling up Old Farm. The trash is always overflowing and you'll probably walk by a condom wrapper or two in the parking lot.
