I should not have my sleep disrupted because there's an arrest going on outside of my apartment. It was funny the first time...but as the third time occurred the other night I'm realizing more and more that this complex is so not for me. Keep in mind that these arrests do not include the times police cruisers stop in front of a building and check on things. I feel like I'm watching COPS everyday.

yup. we also had this same issue when we lived at Old Farm. what was so frustrating is that the "on site security" took longer to respond than the lex police most times. complaining to the property management is pointless, i'm sorry to say. they claim the policy is " 3 strikes your out" when they document the police calls, but this was NEVER followed through with. we called the cops on loud drunk fighting neighbors at least 5 times in 3 months. then WE moved out. get out while you can.

When we lived there, we had a couple above us that fought CONSTANTLY. One night, I was even awoken at 4am to screaming and yelling. I thought I was having a nightmare but nope, it was upstairs. One time they were both on the ground outside and he was hitting her and I'm assuming she was so drunk, she couldn't stand up. Calling the "on site security" did nothing because it took too long to respond. I didn't bother calling Lexington PD because I didn't want to mess with it. Anyways, I agree...get out while you can!!

The very first weekend I lived here I was awoken by a fight on the stairs next to my bedroom. Once I looked out the window I realized it was the police wrestling a drunk to the ground. I found out he was trying to get into my apartment! To be fair, I don't think he lived here, but the so-called on-site security around here didn't do anything. Thank goodness Lexington Police respond to calls.
