I am currently a resident and having lived in other apartment complexes, I have to point out that the staff at the Paddock are extremely helpful and accommodating. Whenever there is a maintenance issue, it is taken care of within a day or two.

Location is also a plus. As pointed out by other reviews, you are within easy driving distance to anything in Lexington.

In regards to safety, I am a female who goes to work early in the morning and doesn't get back until late due to evening classes. I have never felt that my safety has been compromised. The leasing requirements are strict, providing an extra added comfort. It is my opinion, that most people see the multicultural and multiethnic environment and assume that it must be crime-ridden. Unfortunately, this type of ignorance and prejudice seems to be very prevalant. It's too bad if you miss out on a great community and cheap rent due to misguided beliefs.
