I have rent a townhouse at Park Hill apartments (2 bedrooms 1.5 bath) in Lexington over the internet, and my lease starting date was June 1st. Please note that I had sent all the appropriate fees and paperwork promptly. My move-in date was June 1st. To my disappointment when I arrived on Saturday 6/6 at Park Hill Apartments, I found out the following:

1. Unit key was missing. Office staff gave me the wrong key and I had to drive back and forth twice in order to get the mock key and not the original key to open the door.

2. Washer and dryer were missing, despite the advertisement on the internet about that

3. Carpet stains caused by workers on the new carpet

4. Kitchen was half renovated, although I have been told over the phone that the unit is fully renovated. Countertops was new but the cabinets were old. Colors were mismatching (counter tops are light brown and cabinets dark brown, the result is just not tasteful at all)

5. Vent fan at the kitchen was dented.

6. Bathrooms were half renovated. Sinks and toilets were new, bath tub was old and rusty, bath tub panel was missing

7. Blinds at the master bedroom were broken

I spoke with the office staff over the phone, they told me that they will install washer and dryer on Monday or sth, clean up the unit and place an order for the keys. They also said that it was the company's representative's fault that she told me about fully renovated unit without explaining the details on that. When I asked for a refund of my $250 security deposit, it was declined despite the fact that it was not my fault that the unit was not as presented on the internet and over the phone!!!

DO NOT MOVE THERE!!!! I thought that what I've seen on the internet was bad mouthing but it is worse than described here. I have never seen such an unprofessional behavior. DO NOT LET THEM THESE SCUMS TAKE YOUR MONEY LIKE THEY DID TO ME!
