Once upon a time Park Plaza was the best place to live in Lexington. Low rates, fabulous maintanence, wonderful staff, nice pool, NO noise, etc. When I moved in in early 2003, this place was the best place ever!
Then enter Dennis Anderson... raised the rent (by 100 $$$), cut services, put the whole building under construction for months, fired a lot of the staff (there was one or two nice office girls after he took over, but they were both gone by the time I moved out!) and offered no explanation. Way to ruin a great place... it honestly depressed me. Neighbors of mine that had been there for years moved out in droves. Eliminate the doormen (esp next to the park, where many homeless people reside), you eliminate safety. Maybe it has gotten better by now...
