We've lived at Patchen Oaks for about a month so far, we are very pleased with the staff and the apartment. When we moved in, the leasing agent wasn't pleased with the cleaning that the agency had done on the apartment and made sure it was taken care of asap, even though it really wasn't that bad, but she said it was unacceptable, which we were impressed by because she went out of her way to make sure it was done right. Everyone in the office has been very nice and helpful. On our move in sheet there were just a couple of things that were wrong, like a little hole next to an outlet or a crack in the door, things we didn't want to be charged for when we moved out, and it was fixed within 2 days. My husband even walked up one morning to the clubhouse to ask them something, and it was closed, but the maintenance man was outside, he asked if there was anything he could do to help, he told him that we'd had trouble with our shower faucet leaking, he came down in 10 minutes and replaced the whole thing. We feel very safe when walk our dogs out at night, there is plenty of outdoor lighting. One of the reviews we'd seen on another site said utilities were outrageous, we've received our first bills and they were actually less than what we were paying in a rural area. Around $50 for electric and $19 for water/sewage. So far, we love living here and would definately recommend it to anyone else who's thinking about moving to Lexington.

just give it time. or they could be trying really hard because so many people have moved out.

Maybe, but I hope it goes okay, we just had a horrible ordeal with our previous landlord and I really don't think I can handle dealing with it again. :(

Why does everyone harass anyone who has anything good to say? You had a bad experience. Leave it at that. Allow everyone else to have a positive experience, because there are plenty of people who do.
